    Heya there!

Please read this page and read in the navigation bar about our guildrules/raidrules/ranks. For application to our guild, or application for a raidrank or officer rank go here

Well the image speaks the truth....the guild 'Righteous' is indeed
the place to be here in Darkspear! Why?

Well, because we are like one big family!

We are not just there to sit in a guild and wait for a raidspot. Neither do we just take
the advantage that a guild can offer. By chatting with each other, helping each other, doing (oldscool)
dungeons and heroics together and by showing our emphaty we are making sure that everyone within
the guild feels comfortable while spending their time in world of warcraft.

    We are a social-raiding guild.

If we find ourselves with nothing else to do we help each other to level up
even faster or  we sit  back and enjoy the landscapes and
regions World of Warcraft has to offer us.

As far as the guild atmosphere..? THE BEST ! ! !

We share our thoughs not only for World of Warcraft but for so many things!!
like music, poetry, books, socializing and getting to know others better .

As you can see.. this Guild is not JUST a guild.. is a SOCIALIZE guild, and as
the core of us tend to call it a small group of friends online that was fortune
enough to play the same game.. and be in the same Server called Darkspear.

If you want to join us and be a part of that group of friends feel free...
We accept everyone as long as they respect others not only from the guild but
    EVERYONE....

Go to the application threat on the forum or whisper us inside the game. You can see
who is online by pressing /who Righteous, and then ask a person for an invite to
     the guild by a whisper.

Whatever you decide to do, play the game that you like on the way that you like.
That is what Righteous members do and that is what we wish all world of warcraft
    members to be able to!

Cya around on the forum or ingame!

Don't forget to continue reading about our raiding profile here below!

    RAIDING PROFILE ~
The text here below is not up to date. The ranks according to the forum are still here, but we use it only to indicate people that raid with us regulary to give them a higher ammount of available gold for guildrepair.A spot is not given prio to ranks, but ofcourse knowing how much effort a person puts into the guild and its raidingprogress counts!. Lootprio nor dkp are working atm but ofcourse thinking in guild benefits is appreciated.

Update 21-10-2011: From now on everything below counts as a baseline, the raid officer and the guildleader are going over the raid ranks, by all means social officers aren't meant to promote people to a certain raidrank! And considering loot, the raidofficer, guildleader with the help from presented social officers have the final desiscion for where the loot is going to (all in the guilds best)!

    Fun first, progression second!

That said, if we look at raiding in a guild, if there is no progression somehow, then I don’t see the fun of raiding.  At the moment it is hardly possible to make progression without organised groups to raid with. Don’t get me wrong: with a Group full of pugs you could still be able to clear BOT and BWD nowadays. But, if I would lead a puggroup it is more easy for me to kick people out of it if they hold the rest of the Group from progression (because of anonimity, not being close with the people you raid with so while being cruel still not a big deal) and get a person back that adds to the progression.

In a guildgroup tho, I have always been more driven by the feeling that I love the people I raid with. It is coming across cruel and harsh to tell your friends they hold you from progression. It is aswell harsh and unpleasent to see people that come into the guild to raid and could be a huge improvement for the guildsprogress, even i fits not on endgame raiding, leave because they see others hold them from their progression. Both situations wont bring us anywhere i fit comes to raiding!

Within this profile I try to write down guidelines for the raidingpart in our guild, that would hopefully result into a progressive social raid environment where people that want to and that contribute to reward a feeling of fun, social connection and victory. This is still work in progress. But globally it gives you an idea how we want to see raiding in Righteous.

    Raid Environment

    • The guild and it’s atmosphere
    • The guildrules
    • The highest content we can reasonably get into, combined with lower raids and dungeons in order to gear up and practise with (new) raiders

How much/on what days/on what times

    • Three planned ‘progress’ runs a week. Days: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. Times: 20.00-22.30
    • One planned but flexible (meaning it doesn’t count for the 2/3 requirement but if you are on and we need you, you must attent) run a week, starting from september: BWD or BOT (changing every week)
    • One unplanned but required to attent (see raidroster) afternoon to do dungeons for gearing up and practising on sundays

    Raid Roster

There are two raidranks going to be set: ‘First raider’ and ‘Second raider’ (see the threat about rankingsystems in announcements). The first raiders will get the highest priority for a spot. In change for that, these are the requirements:

    • You must be able and willing to attent 2/3 progression raids.
    • You must attend flexible raids when you are online and if we need you
    • You must attend dungeon groups un Sunday if they are for raiders (first or second raiders, or serieus casual ranked players that want to come in one of that rank) to gear up or practise if you are online and are needed.
    • You are not allowed to pug content that we raid at that moment (not the progress content and not the flexible content) apart from on Monday’s and Tuesdays if nothing planned on those days.
    • You are one of the best in your class and role that we have, meaning you know how to play, gear (reforge/gem/enchants included), spec, glyph and you know what resources to use if you need to improve at some point.
    • You sign up for raids you can come to on calendar with the character you could come with. You put tentative when you aren’t sure you can’t come but will be there if you gonna play wow that evening. You put decline if you are sure you can’t come
    • You are online on the character you gonna raid with 30 minutes before the raid start.
    • You use that time to finish what you are doing (incase you are doing something), get your food and flasks, do repair, read up on tacts.
    • The raidleader starts inviting people 20 minutes before raid start. If you have put yourself on tentative and you are not there 15 minutes before start, the raidleader may choose one with a second raidrank. If you did put yourself on sign up but aren’t there, the raidleader can take a second raider instead of you when you are not there 10 minutes before raidtime. 5 minutes before raidtime everyone must be settled and be ready tog et summoned, if nobody in place of the summonarea then one offers to go there.  This is the time to fill spots with casual ranked players or pugs.

They will be rewarded for their efforts with:
Fully guildrepairs for the raids and dungeons they attent, priority on raidspots, first loot priority (working this out later), free mats for enchants/gems out of GB

The second raiders will get the second priority for a spot. Inc hange fort hat, these are the requirements:No sign ups from second raiders please!

    • You must know the global tactics of the encounters we are dealing with
    • You must be free to join in our raids if we need you to fill up spots when you are online.  When you are online, don’t do other things like dungeons 30 minutes before raid start until 30 minutes after raidstart time on calendar, this to prevent you for having to leave a Group down in case we need you.
    • Use the flexible raids and the unplanned sundayafternoons to gear up and practise. If nobody asks or offers any help, ask for it yourself. Show your own effort in it! Keep in mind tho that nobody is here to carry you, feelf ree to gear up and practise outside of those events.
    • We expect second raiders to have descent gear for their class and role and the raidcontent we are currently working on. Your gear doesn’t have to be maxxed, nor do your gems and enchants have to be, but put a little effort in this. No enchants at all for example, makes u not worth for this rank. So does pvp gear. So does not using the ability of reforging to come to better statbalance.
    • We expect second raiders to be able to play their class and role in such a way that it will contribute to our progress.

They will be rewarded for their efforts with:
3/4th of the amount of guildrepairgold from the first raiders rank, second priority onr aidspots and if much effort put into your character and in raids then a change to get the spot of a first raider when we can miss him/her out in the change of you (most likely on lower raids then our highest progression runs), second loot priority (working this out later) , mats for gems/enchants  at 1/4th price of ah out of GB.

Casuals will be our third choise for raids. They will have no requirement to meet other then being social in the guild. They will get third lootpriority and the amount of gold for guildrepairs will be the half of what first raiders get.
